We’ve been out and about this spring and summer with Street Dance the Maypole workshops, Pop Up Ceilidh Jams and occasional performances of our short shows. We’re also delighted to have been working with members of the brilliant Climax Ceilidh Band and, with our fabulous fiddle player and beatboxer, we now have a brand new band, The Ceilidh Jammers. They’ve been getting people up and dancing with our fabulously fun, folky, funky Ceilidh Jams!

St Georges Day Celebrations, Swindon Town Centre, Wiltshire

We had 150 school children at our Street Dance the Maypole workshops and performed our short show in Swindon town centre as part of their wonderful St Georges Day celebrations – Giant St George was there too!

Bites Remix: The Albany, Deptford, London

We were delighted to be asked to perform a short extract from our show and host a Ceilidh Jam social dance for all to join in with. Our first collaboration with the fabulous Climax Ceilidh Band and incredible sound artist Randolph Matthews – great night!

We were there with the Big Dance Bus for an afternoon of Street Dance the Maypole workshops, Ceilidh Jam Pop Ups and our short show – the city was buzzing!

Street Dance the Maypole workshop and Ceilidh Jam with FDR & Climax Ceilidh band – the place was jumping!

Milton Keynes Fringe Festival

Street Dance the Maypole workshop, our short show and a full-on evening Ceilidh Jam with FDR and Climax Ceilidh Band in the beautiful Chrysalis Theatre – it was a blast!

Glasgow Green Commonwealth Games Festival 

We headed North for another a morning Street Dance the Maypole and afternoon performance of our short show. We were delighted to be part of this amazing festival!

 

Friday 25^th July 

Brent Celebrates: a world of Dance, Wembley, London

We topped the bill for this evening’s show – it was full of wonders!

 

7^th – 10^th August 

Wilderness Festival, Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire

Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Festival, London

We hosted workshops by the Cutty Sark and Ceilidh Jam at the bandstand… with Climax Ceilidh band and the amazing beatboxer, Grace Savage! The Tall Ships were a wondrous sight too!

Mimbre Circus Central Festival, Hackney, London

We were delighted to be invited back to Mimbre’s fabulous Circus Central Festival! We performed our shortest show, Keeping it Real with the 5 Hand Reel, and got the audience up with a Street Dance the Maypole workshop and Ceilidh Jam – much fun!

Saturday 27^th September

City Diversions Festival, Chelmsford, Essex

Our maypole was centre stage right in the city centre! Working again with the fabulous Climax Ceilidh Band, we ran Street Dance the Maypole workshops and Ceilidh Jam Pop Ups in the day and a Ceilidh Jam early evening as part of the grand Finale… brilliant day!
